    Benefits of EPF Registration?

    Risk coverage is provided to the employees under the PF Registration. Risk coverage is the main benefit to the employees or to their dependents that may arise due to any miss happening (i.e., illness or retirement or death of employee).

    An UAN is generated for each employee. The full form of UAN is Universal Account Number which has to be used to while doing job with any of the company. Employee can transfer the fund from one company to another company’s fund by making a transfer request.

    Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) is the scheme under which EPFO department provides the insurance cover to the private sector employees. This scheme is for all the PF account holders with basic salary under Rs. 15000/-.

    The PF account holder can always take benefit of the funds deposited with the EPFO. An employee can always withdraw the fund from his PF funds on account of any emergency (i.e. marriage, illness, etc.). The amount will be credited to the account of employee.

    The funds available with the pf account of the employee can be used at the time of any emergency or at the time of need of money. For example an employee can withdraw funds due do any illness or at the time of any marriage or any other requirement.

    An employee can also take payment of his/her pf account in the form of pension. If the pf of any employee is deducting from more than the 10 years then that amount is given every month to the employee in the form of pension.

    When You Need to File PF Return Online?

    Every employer needs to file the PF Return online every month before its due date to avoid penalty or late fee. PR Return needs to be file before 25th of each month. Also an Annual PF return needs to be file on the 25th of April for the year ended on 31st March.
