Is Water Testing Report Mandatory for FSSAI Registration?
As per the notification dated 16 March 2021 the FSSAI department decided that the water testing report from government authorized laboratories ( NABL Certified Labs ) is admissible for the FSSAI registration. Now the question arises that who requires the water testing report for FSSAI registration. Only the food business who use water in their product/ food are required to provide the water report while doing the registration. For examples ( Dhaba Owners, Restaurants, Hotels, Soft Drink Companies, Juice Companies, Packed Water Companies, Food Kitchen and Other Companies using water in their food products) have to provide the water testing report while applying for the food license registration.
When the NOC is required while applying for food license?
If the premises are not in the applicant’s name then he or she needs to provide the proper signed NOC letter from the owner of the property. You can attach the noc in the document section while applying it online.
The property is on my parents or my partner’s name do I need to get NOC from them?
Definitely, if the property is not in your name then you need to get the NOC for FSSAI from the original property owner. Basically in this letter the property owner is authorizing you to obtain food license on that premises and he/she does not have any type of objection if you get the license on that property.
